Malaysia Arrests third suspect related to Kim Jong Nam’s death


Malaysian police have arrested a third person in relation to the death of Kim Jong Nam, the DRPK’s top leader Kim Jong Un’s half brother.
A 26-year-old Malaysian man was arrested in Ampang city of the Selangor state, according to police chief Abdul Samah Mat on Thursday.The male suspect is believed to be the second suspect’s boyfriend.
Mat said that the man provided information leading to the arrest of the woman on Thursday morning, who used Indonesian travel documents.
The first suspect, who’s also a female, was holding a Vietnamese passport. She has been arrested on Wednesday at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
These two female suspects have been captured on surveillance camera footage at the airport, where a man identified as Kim Chol died on Monday after apparently being poisoned while waiting to board a flight.
On Thursday morning, Malaysian deputy PM Ahmad Zahid Himidi formally confirmed that the dead man was Kim Jong Nam, the half-brother of the DPRK’s top leader Kim Jong Un.
Malaysian police say the post mortem examination has been finished, and the results have not yet been made public.
Kim is believed to have been attacked in the airport departure hall by the two females, with some form of chemical The two women arrested have reportedly been remanded in custody for seven days by a local court.
Police said the female arrested on Thursday was identified in her passport as Siti Aishah, 25, from Indonesia’s Banten Province. The suspect arrested on Wednesday had Vietnamese travel documents bearing the name Doan Thi Huong.
