European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has revealed a
white paper with five possible paths for the European Union after Brexit. EU
leaders will discuss the plans, without Britain, at a summit in Rome later this
month.
Rumblings began on Tuesday that Juncker was finally ready to
unveil his big vision for the EU 27.
Juncker chose a plenary sitting of the European Parliament on
Wednesday as the venue for his big reveal. But it wasn't quite what many had
been expecting. It wasn't an out and out call for a two or three-speed Europe.
