Rivers State governor, Mr Nyesom Wike, has said that all
the projects being executed by his administration are meant to touch the lives
of the people.
Speaking after leading members of the state House of
Assembly and selected leaders, yesterday, on project inspection across three
local government areas, Governor Wike expressed satisfaction with the quality
and pace of work at the project sites visited.
The governor and the lawmakers inspected the ongoing
construction of the Bonny Jetty, Woji-Akpajo Bridge, landscaping architecture
at Air Force overheard bridge, Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt Pleasure Park and
the Rivers State Ecumenical Centre.
He said: “These are very worthy projects that will touch
the lives of our people. This is our project year and we will continue to
deliver on key projects.
“We are satisfied with the level of work done. By May,
many of these projects will come on stream. We are fulfilling the pledges we
made to the people.”
