US President Donald Trump visited a new aircraft carrier on Thursday and used the
occasion to push his military agenda.
Aboard the Navy's newest warship, Trump promoted his goal of adding 54
billion US dollars to the defense budget, as he sought to prolong the glow from
his well-received address to Congress and provide a jolt of momentum to his
governing agenda.
